Old Sam Day
Marble Mountain. Come celebrate the 60th Anniversary of the Old Sam Day tradition. A day of fun races for skiers and boarders aged 19 -100! Challenge your friends or cheer on the contestants, then get warmed up in the Knotty Pine Lounge with a snack and a mug of chocolate Sam. Everyone is welcome! This event is organized by the Marble Mountain Ski and Ride Club and is sponsored by the NLC’s Old Sam Rum. Check www.skimarble.com for registration information. Scotiabank, Corner Brook Plaza. Eric Bryson, a renowned stuntman, actor, and producer, will captivate us with stories of his career as a stuntman working with actors such as Bruce Willis and the X-Men. He will have us jumping out of helicopters and being caught on fire as we immerse ourselves in his amazing life experiences.

Join us at 6:00 p.m. for a Hot Chicken Breast dinner, followed by the Beard Growing Judging at 7:15 p.m. There’ll be entertainment provided by the United Church Accordion Group.
