MESSAGE FROM THE CHAIR
Sandra had been a part of the Corner Brook Winter Carnival for many years, starting on sub-committees, then joining the organizing committee. In 2009 she was asked to be chair for the first time. In 2005, Sandra and her husband Dave (“Leif the Lucky”) introduced one of the most loved and long running events, the leifling gala. Sandra says leifling is one of the things she is most proud of. Carnival is a full family event with involvement from Sandra and Dave’s children and now their grandchildren. Her wish is for everyone to take part in the indoor and outdoor activities that are designed with all ages in mind!
