Royal Canadian Legion, 7 West Street. Cost $15.00/Adult, $7.00/Children under 12. Breakfast includes eggs, bologna, sausage, beans, pancakes, toast, tea/coffee, and juice.

8:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. Winter Carnival Breakfast

Corner Brook United Church Lower Level, 19 Park St. Cost $15.00. Breakfast includes scrambled eggs, bologna, hash browns, baked beans, toast, tea/coffee and juice.

8:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. Breakfast at the Salvation Army

The Salvation Army Community Church. 117 O’Connell Drive Cost $10.00. Come and enjoy a traditional Newfoundland breakfast of toutons, bologna, baked beans, eggs, toast, tea/coffee and juice at The Salvation Army Community Church.

10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. Annual Winter Carnival Craft and Gift Expo

Corner Brook Civic Center Studio, Lower Parking Lot Entrance. Cost $3.00, $2.00 with your carnival button. Kids under 16 are always free. A festive winter carnival showcasing 100+ local vendors with handmade goods, baked treats, fudge, and décor. Enjoy a free kids’ cookie-decorating station, scavenger hunt, cash-box giveaway, and door prizes. Admission is $3, or $2 with a carnival button; kids enter free.

10:30 a.m. Story Time with Leif the Lucky

Corner Brook Public Library, 4 West Street. Leif the Lucky is visiting the Corner Brook Public Library for Family Storytime Fun - all ages welcome! Admission Free.

12:00 p.m. – 1:00 p.m. – Chili Cook Off Lunch

Join us at the Civic Centre Meeting Rooms for the 16th Annual Chili Fiesta! Tempt your taste buds with a wide variety of Chili prepared by local chefs for your judging pleasure. You can sample gourmet chili at each booth, vote for your favourite, and enjoy live local music while you eat. The winner will take home the 2026 Chili Crown! This carnival favourite is sponsored by the City of Corner Brook and all proceeds go to the Western Regional Hospital Foundation. Cost: Adults - $9 with Carnival Button, $10 without. Children under 12 - $4 with Carnival Button, $5 without.

2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. Frozen Fairways

Kinsmen Club, 45 St Marks Ave. What happens when you mix hockey and mini golf? You get Frozen Fairways! Join in at the Kinsmen Club and enjoy a family friendly afternoon full of winter fun outside! Using hockey sticks and pucks you'll emerge yourself in mini golf, the Winter Carnival way! Kinsmen Club will be open to provide a place to warm up and have a cup of hot cocoa. Bring your own stick or borrow one but please note that the number of sticks available to borrow is limited. Free with Carnival Button.

2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. Senior’s Card Game

All Hallows Parish Centre, Humber Road. Admission Free with Carnival Button or $5.00 at the door. Senior’s card game (120’s). All Seniors welcome to an afternoon of cards and fun. Sponsored by Archbishop Howley Council No. 2581 (K OF C)

7:00 p.m. - 12:00 a.m. Kintucky Derby

Blomidon Golf and Country Club, West Valley Road. Cost $10.00. Join the Kinsmen Club of Corner Brook for a fun night of games of chance and Horse Races with the last race being Owner’s Race. The event features a series of races where horses advance to the finish line on a giant floor board determined by a wheel of chance. Six betting windows operated with a computer-odds making system.
