10:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. Older Adults (55+) Fun Fitness Hour

Civic Center Studio. Free Admission. Join us for a fun-filled hour of fitness with Nora Lundrigan. Sponsored by Corner Brook Winter Carnival.

11:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Old Sam Day Marble Mountain.

A day of fun races for skiers and boarders aged 19 -100! Challenge your friends or cheer on the contestants, then get warmed up in the Knotty Pine Lounge with a snack and a mug of chocolate Sam. Everyone is welcome! This event is organized by the Marble Mountain Ski and Ride Club and is sponsored by the NLC’s Old Sam Rum. Check www.skimarble.com for registration information. 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. Baked Beans & Toutons Luncheon

Bennett Hall, 11 West Street. Cost $ 12.00. Join us for a true Newfoundland feast of homemade baked beans, toutons, wieners, cookies, and tea/coffee. Take out available. Sponsored by Bennett Hall Ladies Auxiliary.

6:00 p.m. Stuffed Pork Loin Dinner & Beard Growing Competition Judging

Elks Club, 9 Carmen Ave. Cost $20.00 each (Dine-in Only). Join us at 6:00 p.m. for a delicious stuffed pork loin dinner, followed by the Beard Growing Judging at 7:15 p.m. There’ll be entertainment provided by the United Church Accordion Group. Tickets are $20.00 each (Dine in only) and are available at the Elks Club on Sunday, Wednesday & Thursday evenings, or from Susan Diamond (709-639-7602) Only 100 tickets printed and they sell out fast!

6:00 p.m - 9:30 p.m. YMCA and CYN Corner Brook’s Got Talent

This year we are holding our Youth Variety Show at the Arts and Culture Center which will accommodate more viewers for our youth talent showcase. Admission is $10.00 and proceeds will go towards supporting food insecurity in our community

6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Kesikewey Wutan (Winter Village)

Majestic Lawn, West Street. Celebrates land-based skills, traditional knowledge, and the deep connections to the land, plants, and animals that have sustained the community for generations. The activities include traditional foods (soups/bannock), Mi'kmaw music and dancing, fire building, knowledge sharing, hunting and trapping demos, sensory tent with furs and medicines, toboggan and snowshoe sprint, log sawing contest, fireside storytelling and more!

7:00 p.m. Leif the Lucky Funspiel

Corner Brook Curling Club, 3 Canada Games Place. Cost: $200 per team. Join the Corner Brook Curling Association and Boomstick Brewing for our marquee annual event, the Leif the Lucky Funspiel. Teams of 4 get to enjoy 3 games of curling fun and off ice games to keep you entertained when you aren't battling it out on the curling ice. Join us to see who gets to hoist the coveted trophy!
