Royal Canadian Legion, 7 West Street. Cost $15.00/Adult, $7.00/Children under 12. Breakfast includes eggs, bologna, sausage, beans, pancakes, toast, tea/coffee, and juice.

11:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. Carnival Soup Luncheon

St John Evangelist Cathedral Church Hall, 25A Main Street. Cost $15.00 per person. Homemade soup and crusty bread, pie and ice cream, tea and coffee. Come join us; Bring you friends. Everyone is welcome. Sponsored by SJEC Anglican Church Women.

2:00 p.m. Seniors Merchandise Bingo

Valley Mall, Mt. Bernard Avenue. Free admission with Carnival Button. All seniors welcome. Tea/Coffee and cookies will be served. Sponsored by the Valley Mall and Corner Brook Winter Carnival Committee.

6:30 p.m. Annual Spelling Bee

Immaculate Heart of Mary School, Humber Road. Admission Free, donations to Food Bank accepted. Students in Grades 4, 5, & 6 are invited to compete in this SPELL-binding competition. Go word for word and make it to the end without making a spelling error. You will find yourself on the edge of your seat with some of these words!

7:30 p.m. Dancing with the Stars of Corner Brook

Arts and Culture Center. Admission $30.00. Get ready for an evening of glitz, glamour, and good fun! Like the hit TV show, we’ve got expert judges, audience voting, and beloved local Stars teaming up with dance pros to win the top prize while raising money for charity.

8:00 p.m. Carnival Speed Dating

Park West. Have you tried to meet that special someone but haven’t had any luck? Well now your luck is about to change. In the comfort of Park West you can ask questions of several potential soul mates, as you switch seats, and decide on who tugs at your heart strings……. No pressure. Kacie Callahan will provide music if you want to hang out with your special interest after the questions are asked and you eyed that special someone. You never know what a night at Park West can bring. $10 to participate. Some prizes to be won.
